A San Francisco City Hall Wedding
Not much needs to be said about this over-the-top elegant wedding that took place at City Hall in San Francisco last year…the pictures speak for themselves.
COCKTAIL:
The Cocktail Area was filled with a Thailand inspired theme to pay homage to the Bride’s family roots. This included 2 - 4 foot tall floral elephant structures that greeted you in the entryway, hundreds of hanging orchids, custom Thai inspired furniture and artifacts, and a 15 foot custom made tree used for the escort cards.
RECEPTION:
Thousands of flowers were used for this event including building the archway to the Rotunda at City Hall, one of San Francisco’s most beautiful buildings. 5 foot table centerpieces, mercury glassware and an over abundance of florals covered every table. The linen rentals used to dress up the tables were our Shantung Amethyst for the table linen and napkins as well as our Winston Napkin Rings made up of silver crystals.
AFTER DINNER PaRtY:
Not only was there dancing on a custom dance floor and stage, vignettes in the bride and groom’s favorite eats were created for guest to enjoy some late night snacks. This included a pub with a variety of the groom’s favorite liquor, a sushi vignette and an adorable patisserie in honor of the bride’s favorite goodies. Gloria of Gloria Wong Design created the whole atmosphere and design for the entire wedding while Jubilee of Jubilee Lau Events facilitated the planning and logistics for this large scale event. And last but not least, guess who else joined the party??? – none other than the Village People!

I began Wildflower Linen in 2001 after a career in fashion design. In that world, one goes to a lot of events and it seemed that although textiles are very important to that industry, that so much more could be done with the most important (and abundant) elements in the room -- tables and chairs. So, I literally brought all my ideas to the proverbial table and haven't looked back.
