The Eco Event for the Bride at Mon Amie Bridal Salon
PURPOSE:
Create a fabulous annual event bringing brides and eco-friendly designers and vendors together to demonstrate how easy it can be to have a green wedding.

9:30am – 5pm
This is not your typical Bridal Expo.
Your choices make a difference! When you choose to incorporate green elements into your event you increase the demand for sustainable goods and services, help raise awareness about important environmental issues and reduce your impact on the environment.
“Something Green” will kick off Saturday morning at 9:30am –
with a runway fashion show featuring Adele Wechsler Organic gowns.
After the fashion show models will circulate throughout the salon and Eco Event
wearing eco-friendly wedding gowns made of organic fabrics and natural trims by
*Adele Wechsler Organic gowns and *Pure by Justin Organic Alexander
Brides will be invited to visit a special section of the salon set up as a mini bridal show
and have the opportunity to meet and buy directly from Green Designers and Exhibitors!

Wildflower Linen would like to set new standards of environmental consciousness within the event industry and are so happy to participate in events like this where we can support the environmental movement.
Russian Linen in Khaki and Straw and Organic Twirl in Cocoa and Ivory are linens that are in it’s raw form as they are untreated with dyes or chemicals.

We also carry other environmentally friendly fabrics. What we mean by eco-friendly is that there is no color fastness dyes used. We obtain the color by conventional dyes only. These linens consist of the Russian Linen in Aqua, Portugal, Moss, Florence, and Spring Green.

Other Favorites… These linens exude a more soft and natural feel with little or no shine.

I began Wildflower Linen in 2001 after a career in fashion design. In that world, one goes to a lot of events and it seemed that although textiles are very important to that industry, that so much more could be done with the most important (and abundant) elements in the room -- tables and chairs. So, I literally brought all my ideas to the proverbial table and haven't looked back.
