Be Our Guest – Joella Hopkins, Simply Mumtaz Events
Monday, March 9th, 2009Simply Mumtaz Events, Inc. has been a long time customer of Wildflower Linen, since 2003. It was fate, if you call it that, that Joella Hopkins, CSEP, CMP owner of Simply Mumtaz meet up with Youngsong Martin and struck up a friendship even before the mutual business relationship started. Joella lived in Korea for 3 ½ years while she was in Junior and High School. Youngsong is from Korea, so it was natural to start reminiscing. Namdaemoon, Dongdaemoon, Bulgolgi, Korean candy that doesn’t exist anymore! But, anyways – it was a great match and the relationship grew professionally. Below you can see photos of some terrific events that were all created by Simply Mumtaz with Wildflower Linen.
The final photo is the most recent and also more the greenest event we’ve done… 100% of all recyclables were recycled, 100% carbon neutral, 100% organic, and many more exciting green facts. The linen here we used were both an iridescent taffeta and Russian linen. Wildflower Linen is an extremely efficient business, recycling their water and using eco-friendly cleaning products for their linens making them an eco-friendly business.
It’s been a pleasure to work with Wildflower Linen and their team! Everyone is a pleasure and we will be long time customers and we recommend if you haven’t given them a shot, do it! The linens are gorgeous!

I began Wildflower Linen in 2001 after a career in fashion design. In that world, one goes to a lot of events and it seemed that although textiles are very important to that industry, that so much more could be done with the most important (and abundant) elements in the room -- tables and chairs. So, I literally brought all my ideas to the proverbial table and haven't looked back.
