A Wildflower Grows…
Monday, April 14th, 2008When I named my company Wildflower, it was because wild flowers were so symbolic of what I wanted to say about my philosophy of design; instinctual, colorful, unconventional and individual.
And, they are ubiquitous which leads me to the next phase in Wildflower Linen’s growth. We’ve moved into a 25,000-square-foot warehouse in Los Angeles with stunning showroom. And after opening a free-standing showroom in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center, added a San Francisco showroom this year.
The showroom, in the Potrero Hill district, is designed to reflect the city – crisp, elegant, yet unpretentious. And the opening event was attended by the city’s top event professionals, many of whom also helped create the evening. We thank everyone and look forward to our next event there in May featuring a fresh approach on Indian wedding design.

I began Wildflower Linen in 2001 after a career in fashion design. In that world, one goes to a lot of events and it seemed that although textiles are very important to that industry, that so much more could be done with the most important (and abundant) elements in the room -- tables and chairs. So, I literally brought all my ideas to the proverbial table and haven't looked back.
