Recently the catering firm Tres L.A., held one of its famous “Tastemaker’s Dinners” on Two Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The exclusive evenings always feature a fabulous menu (by Tres L.A. of course) for 100 of the industry’s top event planners. This is the second time Wildflower Linen has been invited to provide the tabletop look for the chic affair and of course we always strive to bring more to the table.
This month, the theme was Parisian Country Street Café. Since we always create custom linens for this event, it gave me the chance to further explore my latest collection of romantic inspired linens. What’s more romantic than Paris?
The dinner was served at two very long banquet tables which we covered with three layers of linen. The top linen was a Nu Silk Antique Rose with Gold Flecked Trim followed by a second layer of Chiffon Rose which was swagged and in each swag I added strands of our new curly willow which lent the tables a romantic flourish. And we started the entire look with the bottom layer, which was our Crushed Velvet Mocha. Each corner of the tables had large gold tassels and curly willow pieces cascading to the floor.
Thank you Tres L.A. for continuing to “invite” Wildflower Linen to the table of the Tastemakers Dinners!
